Yes—your scans are encrypted and stored securely in the cloud. We use trusted platforms and industry-standard protocols to ensure your files stay protected.
We never sell your data. We don't peek. We don't monetize your memories. Your visual inventory belongs to you.

Absolutely–and fast. We believe in your right to control your data.
You can quickly and easily delete your account in the app on the User screen. Navigate to User Overview from the menu, and click Delete Account. You'll be asked to confirm your intent to delete all personal and Scan data within your account.
If you're ready, simply hit "Delete My Account." Once you do, your data will be permanently removed, and we'll send you an email when it's taken care of so you don't have to use your time to check back on it.
You can also email us at support@scansurance.com to request account deletion, if you prefer.
Account & Usage
Yes—for now.
Scansurance was built for simplicity and speed on any smartphone or tablet. iOS and Android are both fully supported. We plan to explore desktop or browser versions down the line, but right now we're focused on delivering the best mobile experience possible.
Yes, right now you can download your Scans from your Scansurance account to text, email, or move them wherever you want.
Each subscription is for one user only, which means only you can view or manage your Scans from your account. But hang tight—user-to-user sharing and secondary accounts are coming soon! We're already laying the groundwork.
If you uninstall the app but still have an active subscription, your scans are still stored securely in your Scansurance account.
However, if you cancel your subscription, all of your Scan data will be deleted 30 days after your subscription expires or ends, unless you resubscribe.
